My Personal Angel in Heaven!

I think it is time to slow down a bit and update my blog. Life has been busy with mom's recent passing and funeral. It was a bitter sweet time for our family. We were gathered often to rejoice in mom's graduation from this earth life, but we missed her being with us. The support and love we have been given from family, our ward family, and friends has been overwhelming! Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our family and kept us in your thoughts. It has been amazing to see how many people mom touched during her life. It was interesting that Tim's coworker, who had never met mom, had this to say after the funeral... "I feel like I have been cheated since I didn't ever get to know her, she sounded like a wonderful person." How true that is, she was a special women. I miss her being here to talk with and play with Abbey, but I take comfort in knowing that she is our personal angel in heaven looking after us. I love you mom!!

It makes me sad to think about how much she is missing here with our little kids! Well, I guess she's not really missing out on anything...who knows how much she's able to be involved in? I like the pictures you have of her. She truly was a great friend to us!

Baby Michael is probably just laying in her arms right now thinking how wonderful it is to be kissed good bye and told how lucky he is to have parents like you two by someone who knows first hand. He will be an extra special baby because of that. Aunt Kathy will be missed greatly by a lot of people.

Kathi has always been an angel. She was always kind and willing to include me when we were together. I am sure there was rejoicing in Heaven when she came home.

Although we haven't seen you in a while, you have been in our thoughts and prayers. As one angel has returned home, another is escorted into yours. How exciting, yet it tears at the heart too. Tim, Connie, and Abbey, we are blessed and grateful to know you.
